NOTE

This fun little arrangement/reimagining of “Amazing Grace” was prompted by my longtime friend and collaborator Davóne Tines, who wanted something powerful to sing for a ceremony honoring the retirement of a beloved teacher. The arrangement is extremely open-ended, giving the ensemble wide interpretive liberties in timing, dynamics, expression, and articulation.
